MAX SAMUEL FLORES RAMIREZ
Hello! I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), dedicated to bringing artistic vision to reality through solving technical complexities. My technical foundation is built upon coursework in Product Design, Finite Element Methods, Mechanics of Materials, and Mechanical Control Systems.
Current Focus & Leadership
Chief Engineer, ASME e-Human Powered Vehicle Challenge: I lead the design and fabrication of a reliable, mechanically sound, and safe vehicle for competition.
Researcher, ASTM F24: Under the guidance of Chris Rose (Imagineering, Florida) I am investigating the potential hazard exposure of Implantable Medical Devices (IMDs) within amusement rides and devices.
Professional Trajectory
I am actively solidifying my technical qualifications, with scheduled sittings for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam in February and the Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) exam in March.
Beyond the mechanics, I strive to embody the collaborative spirit I experienced during my internship with Disney’s Worldwide Safety Assurance team.
Drawing on this past experience I am eager to expand my role beyond engineering boundaries and aim to collaborate within cross-functional teams where safety, creativity, and reliability intersect to create unforgettable and magical guest experiences.
