I am currently leading the control systems design for a CubeSat test stand in collaboration with the CSULB CubeSat club. Members of the team are building a high-fidelity test environment that mimics the dynamics of space by creating a frictionless air-bearing platform to simulate microgravity. 
My focus is towards the development of our Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS), specifically the design and fabrication of reaction wheels through solid modeling of the mechanical assembly in Solidworks and Simulink. Compiling the electromechanical hardware and tuning PID control loops to prove that our system can reorient a satellite payload within a 3D frictionless environment.
